About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SCADA Principal Engineer to join our team at Consolidated Power Projects (CPP), a leader in high-voltage power solutions. As a member of our highly experienced SCADA Engineering team, you will provide specialist input into multi-disciplinary project teams and develop high-quality designs for high-voltage substations and associated power system equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and technical direction for work undertaken
  • Maintain a knowledge and understanding of trends in engineering design, project management, and contract administration
  • Monitor project efficiency by reviewing performance against budget and implement actions to ensure targets are met
  • Ensure cost-effective solutions are achieved by providing technical input into and review of outputs
  • Undertake engineering tasks to ensure a high level of accuracy and efficiency according to the company standards of operation
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Expertise in high-voltage substation design, including knowledge of industry standards
  • Experience in specifying and configuring SCADA systems in a substation environment
  • Ability to take accountability and responsibility for the delivery of design outcomes for projects
