About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Structural Design Engineer to join our team at Consolidated Power Projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise for the development of infrastructure for substations, transport, and civil structures.

You will work closely with other engineers, designers, and clients across a range of crucial projects, contributing to the successful delivery of structural design requirements. Your expertise will be essential in mentoring and supporting a team of structural engineers, including graduates.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Structural Engineering
  • Minimum of 10+ years experience in a similar Principal Structural Engineer position within renewables or utilities
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of Australian guidelines and standards
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders and mentor graduates and engineers
  • Proficient in SPACE GASS, PLS-CADD/PLS POLE and other structural tools
  • Demonstrated recent experience working within utilities or renewable energy design projects
