Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior or Principal Process Engineer to join our Melbourne team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking options investigations, feasibility studies and reporting on complex engineering projects such as water, wastewater, recycled water, resource recovery, biosolids, and odour treatment facilities.

They will also lead project delivery and engineering designs for water and wastewater treatment plant projects, applying experience and understanding of treatment projects from concept through to detailed design to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Lead project teams, ensuring high quality deliverables and budgets are met in a timely manner
  • Work and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary design team to ensure constructability of the process designs and compatibility with the design intent
  • Engage in client facing activities to ensure expectations are met and exceeded
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Chemical or Process Engineering, with approximately 6 to 10 years relevant professional experience in the water and wastewater industry. Experience in wastewater treatment process design and modelling would be advantageous.

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients
  • Highly developed consulting skills to liaise with clients and other stakeholders to achieve mutually successful project outcomes
  • A positive and proactive attitude with the ability to get involved and lead others, whilst contributing to a vibrant team
