About the Role

You will lead Geoporte's water infrastructure and flood management initiatives in Victoria — combining strategic business development with the delivery of robust stormwater, drainage, and flood resilience projects. You will shape solutions, mentor the team, and act as the technical lead for integrated water planning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead stormwater drainage design, flood studies, WSUD, and integrated water management strategies

- Provide technical leadership on flood modelling and drainage design, including review and guidance on 1D/2D hydraulic modelling outputs (e.g., TUFLOW, HEC-RAS), supported by specialist modelers

- Engage with councils and water authorities to identify, win, and deliver new projects

- Mentor a growing team of engineers and collaborate across disciplines

- Contribute to proposals, submissions, and strategic growth planning

Key Requirements:

- 10+ years of experience in stormwater, floodplain management, or water infrastructure projects

- Deep understanding of Victorian planning, water, and environmental regulatory frameworks

- Demonstrated success in winning and delivering council and water authority projects in Victoria

- Strong experience leading WSUD, IWM, and flood mitigation strategies, including review of floodplain mapping and coordination of modelling tasks

- Skilled in tools such as TUFLOW, eWater MUSIC, RORB, Civil 3D, and/or 12d

- CPEng and RPEV preferred

- Roadworks and civil infrastructure design experience

- Established local network and client relationships in Victoria's water industry

- Base salary commensurate with experience

- Performance-based bonuses linked to project delivery and business development contributions
