Centre Cook Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and passionate cook to join our team at a childcare centre in Mannering Park. As a Centre Cook, you will have the opportunity to create delicious and healthy meals for children, playing a crucial role in shaping their daily experiences.

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals that take into account special dietary requirements and allergies.
  • Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic.

About the Role:

  • This is a 38-place childcare centre proudly rated EXCEEDING the National Quality Standard.
  • The centre is located in the local community of Mannering Park on the Central Coast.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting.
