Secure Network Systems Engineer

Overview:

We're seeking a skilled Security Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our network security group, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure network solutions that protect our customers' data.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure network architectures using industry-leading technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and virtual private networks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT security, including large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Advanced skills with key platforms: F5 Load Balancers & Application Firewall; Netskope Web Proxy Services.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure environments and knowledge of the OSI model.
  • Ability to analyze packet captures and apply secure development practices.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery capability.
