Senior Network Security Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Senior Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Cyber Security Engineering department, you will play a critical role in delivering robust network security solutions across both business-as-usual and project-based initiatives.

In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for assessing, designing, implementing and managing security protocols with a focus on data loss prevention. You will work closely with our vendors to build and support modern and adaptable security services that meet the highest standards of compliance and security.

You will also be responsible for providing input and guidance on developing security frameworks and ensuring best practices are applied across our network. This includes developing and leading scalable, reliable and secure network architectures such as SASE, ZTNA, DLP, CASB and SWG.

A significant part of your role will involve automating security configurations and infrastructure-as-code practices to reduce operational overhead and improve reliability. You will also be responsible for proactively monitoring, detecting and responding to security threats, ensuring incidents are closed, contained and remediated efficiently and effectively.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have extensive experience in network security, cloud-based security solutions and zero trust architectures. You should also have proficiency in scripting and automation, as well as experience working with cloud access security brokers and secure web gateways.

Additionally, you will need to have a deep understanding of network security compliance frameworks such as SOC2, ISO 27001 and NIST. Strong stakeholder management skills are also essential, as is the ability to influence without authority and align security priorities with business needs.
