About the Role

A fast-growing enterprise seeks an experienced Cybersecurity and Firewall Specialist to design, implement, secure, and maintain its corporate and customer firewall infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in network security, with expertise in FortiGate technologies. They will work closely with other teams to develop optimal solutions for stakeholders based on industry standards.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing robust firewall architectures
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address security threats
  • Troubleshooting complex firewall performance issues
  • Analysing network traffic to inform capacity planning decisions
  • Maintaining technical expertise in firewalls, security concepts, and emerging technologies

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years' experience working in cybersecurity or network security
  • Strong knowledge of FortiGate technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Demonstrated ability to stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies
