Key Information

We are seeking a compassionate and driven Nurse Unit Manager with a solid background in oncology, ideally with experience in radiation oncology.

About the Role

This key management position involves leading approximately seven FTEs and driving the nursing team's commitment to quality care, continuous improvement, and patient satisfaction.

You will be responsible for fostering a collaborative and safe work environment, leveraging resources effectively to enhance clinical outcomes.

The role extends across our network, collaborating with nurse educators, quality specialists, and oncology researchers to maintain our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate patient-centred care, integrating evidence-based practice with innovative service delivery.
  • Provide advanced clinical and professional guidance to multidisciplinary teams, maintaining a high standard of care.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and stakeholders, responding to patient feedback thoughtfully and proactively.
  • Oversee the effective management of all resources, including budgeting, staff rosters, and safety and quality standards.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and career development, fostering a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented workplace.
