Clinical Lead Role for Clozapine Program

We are seeking an experienced mental health professional to take on a key leadership position within our community mental health team.

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, external agencies, and healthcare providers to ensure high-quality care for individuals receiving clozapine treatment.
  • Develop and implement effective service planning and development strategies.
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to team members, promoting open communication and a culture of kindness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the clozapine program, working closely with primary healthcare providers and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to protocols and monitoring requirements for clozapine therapy.
  • Foster strong relationships with consumers, carers, and family members to promote continuity of care.

Requirements:

  • Mental health experience in a community setting, with a focus on clozapine management.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Demonstrated expertise in clozapine therapy, including associated risks and monitoring requirements.
