Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Audiologist to join our team. As an Audiologist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional hearing services to people of all backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Assessment: Assess the auditory problems of adult clients using established methods and standards.
  • Rehabilitative Support: Provide appropriate support including hearing aids, assistive listening devices, personal amplification devices, accessories and communication strategies as needed.
  • Clinical Guidance: Refer clients to other professionals or seek guidance from senior audiologists where required.
  • Community Services: Participate in providing services at visiting sites and home visits.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with disability representatives, allied health agencies, families and carers to ensure best practice and outcomes for each client.
  • Marketing: Undertake marketing activities in the community as required.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, manage client load and meet revenue targets.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualification: Hold a tertiary qualification in Audiology.
  • Professional Membership: Be a full member of the Audiology Society of Australia.
  • Clinical Knowledge: Possess sound knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian standards.
  • Program Knowledge: Have sound knowledge of the Hearing Services Program.
  • Scheme Exposure: Have exposure to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme.
  • Travel Requirements: Be willing to travel to other locations to undertake clinical work.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to support business changes to clinical practice, products and policies.
