We are seeking a seasoned Insurance Specialist to join our organization within the offshore oil and gas sector.

About the Role

This is a standalone role offering a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. You will provide support across the Asia Pacific, collaborating with regional leadership and global insurance teams to drive effective risk and insurance management across a varied and complex portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead annual renewals of personnel and commercial insurance policies across various Asia Pacific countries.
  2. Manage and coordinate all insurance claims.
  3. Provide strategic and operational insurance advice to ensure adequate cover across all departments and projects.
  4. Maintain strong relationships with brokers and external partners.
  5. Support insurance budget planning and compliance across the region.
  6. Ensure all insurance-related activities align with internal standards and industry best practices.
About You
  • You have 3–5 years of experience in insurance or risk management within the oil & gas, marine, or offshore industry.
  • You hold tertiary qualifications in Legal Studies, Finance, Risk Management, or related fields.
  • You have a strong understanding of the Asia Pacific regulatory environment and operational offshore activities.
  • You are confident in taking ownership of insurance portfolios and driving compliance.
  • You are a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
