Safety and Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Security Officer to join our team at The Star Gold Coast. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify and mitigate potential security risks
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances, and take appropriate action to resolve the situation
- Monitor access to restricted areas and ensure that only authorized personnel have access
- Document and report security-related incidents, accidents, and violations in accordance with internal protocols
- Current RSA and QLD Certificate 2 or 3 in Security Operations, including a Crowd Control module
- Previous experience in high-volume crowd control is highly regarded
- A high standard of grooming and a professional appearance
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster
