Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced civil project coordinator to join our growing business. As a civil project coordinator, you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of challenging construction projects across multiple industry sectors.

This is an opportunity to work with a well-established civil contractor on earthworks, demolition, excavation, piling, retention, foundations and related works.

You will be responsible for working on tenders, planning and scheduling of construction activities, management of site project teams, quality assurance, cost and time management, preparation of management reports, resolving site issues in a timely manner, liaising with key clients and stakeholders, coordinating internal and external resources.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or similar; 3 – 5+ years' experience on civil projects, must have bulk earthworks experience; Project management qualifications will be advantageous; Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach; Effective problem-solving abilities; Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations; High level of organisation and time management skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

About the Role

Our civil contractor provides services across multiple industry sectors such as building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure and environmental projects.

Types of Projects:

Civil engineering projects including earthworks, demolition, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation.

Project Values:

Typical project values range from $2.5m to $25m, with potential to reach higher values.
