Senior Journalist Vacancy

The Daily Advertiser is seeking a highly skilled senior journalist to join our team in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

This role involves researching and producing high-quality content for both print and digital channels. You will work closely with the newsroom to develop articles, engage with the audience, and represent the publication at official events.

To be successful in this role, you must have extensive experience as a journalist, with a proven track record in community reporting. Your portfolio should include samples of your work that demonstrate your expertise in storytelling and content creation.

You will work collaboratively within a team environment to assist in developing story ideas and contributing to the success of the publication.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in journalism, preferably in a community reporting role.
  • Excellent research and interviewing skills, with the ability to produce engaging and accurate content.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and the public.
  • A strong understanding of digital media platforms and the ability to adapt to changing technology.
