Strategic Development Advisory Lead

As a key member of our high-performing Development Assessment team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and guidance to customers on strategic development matters.
Key responsibilities include reviewing and advising on pre-development applications, assessing development-related applications for compliance with relevant legislation and planning provisions, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
About You- You possess a tertiary qualification in planning, architecture, or urban design, or a related field, such as building surveying or construction management.
- A minimum of 3 years' extensive planning experience, preferably in development assessment and/or duty planning in local government, is required.
- Strong knowledge of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and other relevant environmental and planning legislation is essential.
- You have excellent communication skills and can maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
- Awareness of and commitment to quality customer service principles is vital.
- You hold a current and valid Class C Australian Driver's Licence.
