Job Opportunity

We are seeking an Environmental Centre Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, community groups, and the general public, providing exceptional customer service and promoting environmental awareness and conservation.

About the Position

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  • Coordinate and deliver educational programs, displays, tours, and workshops that engage and educate the public.
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to a team of volunteers, empowering them to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage competing deadlines and priorities within the centre, maintaining high standards of efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and disseminate environmental messages to visitors of various ages and backgrounds, fostering a culture of sustainability.
  • Collaborate with staff to manage the site, including natural reserve areas, ensuring optimal outcomes for all stakeholders.
