Disability Services Team Lead

ENDEAVOUR FOUNDATION is committed to empowering individuals with disabilities, and we are seeking a highly skilled Disability Services Team Lead to join our team in Innisfail, QLD.
About the RoleThis permanent full-time position offers a unique opportunity to lead a passionate team, advocating for the human rights of people with disabilities and promoting their choice and control. You will be responsible for guiding your teams in assisting clients according to their NDIS plans and goals, ensuring a person-centred environment that translates into action.
As a key member of our Home and Community portfolio, you will report to the Operations Manager and work autonomously to deliver high-quality services to our clients. Your expertise will be essential in resolving escalations and concerns from families/carers/advocates for clients, while also driving continuous improvement and adherence to practice guidelines and organisational policy and procedure.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team to achieve performance targets and KPIs, promoting a well-balanced team culture and respecting the need to deliver high-quality services to our clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure consistency of service delivery, encouraging continuous improvement and adherence to organisational policy and procedure.
- Maintain effective site operations, managing team members on a rotating roster to meet target ratios of client to Support Worker hours.
- Promote organisational strategy through building a capable, relevant, high-performing, and compliant workforce.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in human services or equivalent tertiary education.
- At least 3 years' experience working in leadership roles within the disability sector and Aged Care.
- Demonstrated ability in assisting vulnerable people to identify goals and make necessary choices and decisions to achieve these goals.
- Proven problem-solving skills, interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills required to grow relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using current MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Employee Self Service programs, and communication technologies.
- Possession of a current driver's licence, reliable motor vehicle, and comprehensive insurance.
