About the RoleThis is an opportunity for an experienced auditor to shape the future of assurance in a rapidly evolving field, while supporting practitioners across various teams with expertise.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining sustainability assurance methodology in line with emerging standards.
- Providing technical guidance and responding to complex queries on sustainability assurance engagements.
- Collaborating with audit teams to ensure effective application of assurance methodology in sustainability-related engagements.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams within the Audit & Assurance Quality department.
You will be responsible for monitoring changes in regulatory and standard-setting environments and ensuring timely integration into methodology and practice.
In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also support technical learning, engage in thought leadership projects, and contribute to responses to regulatory consultations on sustainability assurance matters.
About You- You hold a graduate degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business, majoring in Accounting and/or Finance.
- You are CA qualified (or equivalent).
- You have excellent technical accounting knowledge and skills, including applied knowledge of Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards.
- You have demonstrated experience in performing and/or reviewing sustainability assurance engagements.
- You possess a broad range of client experience across various industries.
- You have strong project and stakeholder management skills, with experience managing people and technical deliverables.
