Quality assurance is pivotal in maintaining the efficacy and reliability of our products.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to join our team in facilitating the effective administration of all quality assurance operations within the activities of the organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ensuring the organization maintains an audit-ready state
  • Facilitating and completing internal audits
  • Scheduling and completing product quality reviews
  • Maintenance of Quality Management Systems and processes
  • Providing cross-functional GMP and QMS-related training
  • Investigation of internal deviations and customer complaints
  • Ensuring necessary testing is carried out in accordance with predetermined requirements
  • Creating, approving, and authorizing specifications, sampling instructions, test methods, and other Quality Control procedures
  • Review and approval of out-of-specification and out-of-trend reporting
  • Completing risk assessments and management for the business
  • Retention of records and ensuring appropriate archiving
  • Authorizing written procedures and other documents, including amendments
  • Monitoring and controlling the production environment for GMP compliance
  • Providing training to staff involved in contributing to and generating medicines

This role plays a critical part in ensuring all critical issues are addressed in a timely manner to create a sustainable business capable of meeting our promise to customers.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Quality Management, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated understanding of Total Quality Management (TQM) systems, including ISO 9001 and AS 4123 accreditations
  • Capacity to operate and maintain a NATA-accredited laboratory and certification for relevant Australian Standards
  • Ability to provide leadership in administering manufacturing activities within a commercial organization operating in a complex market environment
  • Clear demonstration of business administration skills
