About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Traffic Control Depot Manager to join our team at Evolution Group Holdings Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Traffic Control operations, ensuring that our services are delivered safely and professionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Oversee the allocation of personnel and equipment to meet client requirements, ensuring that all necessary plans and permits are in place prior to commencing jobs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage teams, driving a positive culture and contributing to staff management, motivation, and training, recruitment, and staff morale.
  • Business Development: Work with the management team to develop new revenue opportunities through engagement with new and prospective clients.
  • Interpersonal Relationships: Build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships internally and externally.
  • Strategic Planning: Work with business leaders to implement long and short-term plans for growth across the region.
  • Policy Implementation: Drive and maintain best practice organisational policies and procedures.
  • Compliance: Ensure scheduled work complies with legal requirements, industry regulations, company, and client procedures.
  • Rostering and Scheduling: Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of the efficient rostering of staff in accordance with customer requests.
  • Supervision: Provide adequate supervision to Traffic Controllers through technical guidance and support.
  • Inspections and Audits: Participate in inspections, audits, and safety observations as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience successfully managing client relationships and previous Traffic Industry experience.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team, drive high performance, and provide exceptional service.
  • Communication: Strong demonstrated ability to be a dynamic, proactive leader and ability to influence and engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient computer skills including MS Excel.
  • Background: Traffic and/or logistics background desirable.
  • Management: Experience in managing budgets, contracts, and overtime.
