About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the Wagga Wagga base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a close-knit team of engineering staff, ensuring the smooth operation of maintenance activities
  • Coordinate and plan manpower, equipment, tooling, data, and aeronautical products to ensure timely completion of all maintenance tasks
  • Ensure the serviceability of tooling and equipment, and implement a preventative maintenance/service program for Engineering GSE
  • Disseminate information through regular toolbox meetings and the 'read and sign' process
  • Rectify deficiencies identified in quality and safety systems, and correct amendment status of publications
  • Maintain a clean and safe facility, and ensure correct disposal of hazardous materials
  • Monitor and control costs at the Wagga Wagga base, and conduct regular audits of engineers' toolboxes

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to manage a team and work independently
  • Demonstrated willingness to accept responsibility and take initiative
  • Experience in airline operations, with knowledge of regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines in a high workload environment

Salary and Conditions:

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary package, including a base salary of approximately $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits.
