Job Overview

As a risk professional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the integrity of our risk policies and safeguarding our merchants from potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of high-risk seller accounts to ensure alignment with established risk policies.
  • Analyze risks associated with various seller business models and card processing patterns.
  • Collect and scrutinize relevant documentation necessary to assess and mitigate risk.
  • Document decisions and rationale in accordance with underwriting guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including Fraud and Compliance teams.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to key credit risk initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Fluent English language skills, with proficiency in Japanese.
  • At least one year of experience in credit, underwriting, finance, or related fields.
  • Proven expertise in financial statement analysis.
  • Background in commercial banking or card processing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated individual comfortable working with ambiguity.
  • Strong sense of accountability and willingness to contribute to team goals.
  • Collaborative mindset with a commitment to knowledge sharing and mentoring.
