Primary Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team. As a primary teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional growth of students.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position (0.3 FTE) commencing January 2025. The successful candidate will be based at Holy Spirit Primary School, Kurri Kurri, and will be responsible for teaching students from Year 3 to Year 6.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to Catholic Education and the ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to this ethos. They will also have demonstrated experience in effective assessment and the utilisation of relevant school data to optimise organisational and educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students;
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues;
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement within the school environment;
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A four-year trained teacher qualification;
  • Active NESA accreditation;
  • A current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number;
  • Completion of anaphylaxis training;
  • Completion of CPR training;
