About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of construction workers and oversee the construction process from start to finish.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor and control costs, materials, and labor to achieve project profitability.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project.
  • Prepare and submit project reports to stakeholders, including project status, progress, and any issues or concerns.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-4 years of experience as a Construction Site Manager in the volume home building industry.
  • Tertiary qualifications in building and construction or a related field.
  • Trade background and experience in construction management.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Proficiency in construction-specific software packages and IT skills.
  • Commitment to WHS principles and practices.
