Job Title: Client Relationship Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Client Relationship Specialist to join our sales team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with independent optometry customers.

About the Role:

The primary objectives of this role include protecting core business, growing market share, and identifying new business opportunities. To achieve these goals, you will collaborate directly with customers to grow their business and ours through strategic planning and product education.

You will also be responsible for upskilling practice staff on the benefits of our products and working closely with Customer Service teams to ensure exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with independent optometry customers

  • Work closely with Customer Service teams to ensure exceptional service and support
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Experience working with practice staff in B2B sales or within a practice setting
  • Ability to analyze sales data and convert insights into actionable strategies
  • Minimum 3 years in optical sales (lens, customer service, lab, or retail)
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft suite skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Business acumen and understanding of pricing strategy and margins
  • Ability to train and upskill product knowledge to groups and individuals
Desirable Criteria:
  • Qualifications and/or experience in Optical Dispensing highly regarded
  • Prior experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and sales reporting software
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect and convert new business opportunities
  • Previous experience as an Account Manager
