Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Identity team. As a key member of our TPM team, you'll be responsible for driving the adoption and usage of our Identity platform across Atlassian products. You'll work closely with our Identity TPM team and Engineering partners to define the technical strategy, design, and roadmap of the product area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the adoption and usage of the Identity platform across Atlassian products

  • Collaborate with the Identity TPM team and Engineering partners to define the technical strategy, design, and roadmap of the product area

  • Scope and drive Identity-wide programs, including scoping and executing technical projects with broad scope across the company

  • Analyse the current state of the Identity platform and product components, business objectives, customer needs, product adoption inhibitors, and industry trends

  • Identify inhibitors, issues, or opportunities and address them or find the right owners to take action

  • Ensure translation of the strategy and platform/product requirements into technical requirements and solutions in collaboration with partner teams and engineering counterparts

Requirements

  • 5+ years of recent experience collaborating with software teams in similar relevant roles such as Technical Platform Product Manager, Technical/Software Program Manager, or Engineering/Development Manager

  • Exposure to Identity/IAM platforms or solutions, including authorisation and authentication

  • Experience in designing and building back-end software systems, including trade-offs, launching, and scaling

  • Experience analysing business priorities, customer needs, industry trends, and articulating a technical roadmap for your product area in collaboration with engineering partners

  • Ability to lead complex technical projects end-to-end, spanning multiple teams and dependencies, including collaborating with engineering stakeholders, identifying and mitigating risks, and making trade-off decisions to optimise the outcome

  • Able to translate customer and/or product requirements into technical requirements

  • Experience building commercial Cloud Services is a plus
