Regional Development Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading regional strategic planning and priority setting efforts, advocating and providing leadership to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing regional strategic plans and priorities;
  • Building relationships with local councils and key stakeholders to foster collaboration and cooperation;
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the Board and General Managers on regional development initiatives.

This role requires strong communication, project management, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in a complex regional environment.

About the Role

The Regional Development Manager will work closely with the Chair, Deputy Chair, and members of the Board, as well as the RAMJO General Managers, to achieve the objectives of the position.

Responsibilities include recruiting a permanent Executive Officer, working with Griffith City Council's human resources team to complete this task.

The successful candidate will be based within the RAMJO footprint and have a strong understanding of regional development principles and practices.

Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications and experience are required:

  • Proven experience in regional development, community engagement, or a related field;
  • Strong knowledge of regional strategic planning and priority setting principles and practices;

  • Able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
