Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Mechanic to join our team, responsible for overseeing and carrying out the maintenance of a fleet of vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in agriculture or a related field, with strong mechanical skills and a willingness to learn and work safely.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, performing diagnostic tests, and ensuring all vehicles and equipment are serviced in a timely manner. They will also provide technical advice to the Farm Manager and assist with managing and conducting spraying, seeding, and harvest operations as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and carry out the maintenance on a fleet of light vehicles, trucks, tractors, sprayers, harvesters, and farm support equipment.
  • Ensure all maintenance is carried out in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide technical advice to the Farm Manager.
  • Assist with managing and conducting spraying, seeding, and harvest operations as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Previous experience in agriculture or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A willingness to learn and work safely.
  • Class MC Driver's License (preferred but not essential).
