Financial Resource Analyst Position

A leading organization is seeking an experienced Financial and Resource Analyst to drive process improvement, financial management, and resource optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed processes for financial management, forecasting, and reporting across programs.
  • Support the enhancement of financial and resource management processes, templates, workflows, tools, design, and implementation.
  • Track and report monthly financial performance against established benchmarks.
  • Compile and capture program budget and forecast estimates to completion.
  • Review vendor costs against milestones and monitor progress.
  • Perform end-of-month closing activities, including accruals and timely posting of correction entries.
  • Maintain a comprehensive audit trail of changes to budget and approved use of contingency funds.
  • Collaborate with Program Directors to review risks and issues impacting financial performance.
  • Capture resource demand requirements and maintain resource supply information.
  • Communicate business resource requirements with sufficient notice to minimize disruption.
  • Develop and maintain Master Resource Lists showcasing accurate breakdowns of resources assigned to programs.
  • Track resource changes, ensuring new hires and extensions align with forecasts.
  • Produce regular reports and month-end reviews.
  • Produce program reporting packs.
  • Understand financial forecasts and variations from baseline, providing valuable insights and analysis.
