Role Overview

Jemena is seeking a Senior Platform Analyst to join our Corporate Platforms team, playing a key role in delivering reliable and secure application services that drive our business forward.

As a Senior Platform Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring application stability, leading enhancements and improvements, collaborating on projects, and engaging with stakeholders. You will also operate within our risk, governance, and IT frameworks, adhering to Jemena's SDLC, project methodologies, IT standards, and ITIL change and service management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure application stability and provide operational support to ensure all application services are reliable and available to the business.
  • Lead enhancements and improvements by conducting system analysis, designing solutions, defining requirements, estimating timelines, and overseeing development, configuration, and implementation.
  • Collaborate on projects led by the Program Delivery team, performing tasks that align with our project management methodologies and working closely with project managers to deliver results.
  • Engage with application users to understand their evolving IT needs and ensure the services provided meet agreed targets for quality and timeliness, enabling our business to thrive.

Requirements

  • In-depth experience in SAP Basis managing SAP environments.
  • Considerable experience with system implementation and support.
  • Experience in delivering services within a commercial framework.
  • Understanding of customer service delivery and ability to demonstrate experience in this area.
  • Good experience with SAP software upgrades and system refreshes.
  • Competence with SAP in-memory applications and cloud-based technologies.
  • Good experience with operating and database systems supported by SAP applications.

Qualifications/Certifications & Skills

  • Solid understanding of IT, software development life cycle, and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent analysis, problem management, and design skills.
  • Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Understanding of Change Management processes and ability to work at all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to gather and analyze user requirements and multitask and prioritize workload.
  • Strong skills in analysis and design, along with a solid understanding of ITIL, software development life cycle, and project management methodologies.
