Are you a Defence Reservist or someone with an understanding of Navy operations? Do you bring experience in enterprise resource planning systems, warehouse operations, or customer service?

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a vital Defence support role in beautiful Cairns, where it's always perfect.

This full-time position supports all three Defence services, under our National Clothing Store Services contract. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

  • $26.60 per hour
  • Full-time job stability
  • Work hours: 7:30am–4:00pm (Mon–Thurs), 7:30am–2:00pm (Fri)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, check, and acquit stores under supervision
  • Pack stock and prepare for despatch
  • Assist customers with kit issues
  • Inspect and accept returned items
  • Perform manual handling using various methods

What You'll Bring:

  • Defence background or Navy knowledge highly regarded
  • Experience in ERP systems, warehouse operations, or customer service
  • Valid Driver's Licence and own transport
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and time management
