We are seeking a highly skilled State Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of various developments across our large and expansive portfolio of forecourt, fuel, and convenience shop projects.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the development project lifecycle, from initial scope, budgeting, and feasibility to town planning, tender, contract, and construction.
You will ensure that project delivery is on time, within budget, and to quality standards, while maintaining strong communication with key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Additionally, you will implement and comply with all Viva Standards and Inspection Protocols, engage with stakeholders collaboratively, and provide leadership and support to direct report Team Members and functions on the project.
With a focus on driving continuous improvements in processes and ways of working, you will contribute to the delivery of best practice capital works projects across our site network.
About You and Your SkillsWe are looking for a knowledgeable State Project Manager with extensive experience in delivering projects in fast-paced growth environments under a structured framework.
You will have a proven track record in project management within the Retail, Food, QSR, or Petrol and Convenience industries, with in-depth knowledge of Australian Standards, contracts, building, and safety legislation.
With a strong ability to manage project scope, perform project scheduling and programming, finance, resource management, WHS, risks, and quality assurance, you will be confident in status reporting, delivery documentation, and deliverable management and governance framework.
You will also have the capability to establish and run project management framework, processes, governance, and tool sets, with demonstrated experience in engaging with senior stakeholders and delivering great outcomes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders, are essential for this role.
