Strategic Global Supply Chain Lead

This is a key position within our organisation, responsible for implementing and managing our global supply chain activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing Saab's Global Supply Chain Program (GSCP) plan, including activities, inputs into reporting and performance measurement.
- Facilitate visits and meetings between Saab entities and Australian suppliers to foster strong relationships and opportunities.
- Implement the Stakeholder Communication and Engagement Plan (SC&EP) to ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Identify and provide bid and development opportunities across Saab's global supply chain for Australian suppliers.
- Assess and match Australian companies to identified opportunities using agreed Saab and global processes and protocols.
We are looking for a skilled professional with:
- Extensive experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management, preferably in a defence or security industry.
- A good understanding of contract law principles and contractual requirements of large multi-discipline projects.
We specialise in the development and integration of major defence and security systems. Our goal is to provide innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
