Job Opportunity: Birth Suite Midwife

The role of a Registered Midwife in the Birth Suite offers a unique chance to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, delivering high-quality patient care with the support of colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional women-centered care, working across birth units and wards as part of a cohesive team that prioritizes positive workplace relationships.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, nursing staff, lactation consultants, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless delivery of quality patient care.
  • Perform duties under the guidance of department managers, clinical nurses, and shift leaders to maintain high standards of patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife.
  • A minimum three years' experience working as a midwife post-registration.
  • Experience in birth suites is essential.
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective teamwork.
