Welding Supervisor Job Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a highly experienced welding supervisor to join our team on the Blast Furnace 6 Reline project. This role offers a unique chance for skilled professionals to develop their expertise and contribute to a dynamic work environment.

About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop fabrication work packages for maintenance and projects;
  • Create and manage inspection and test plans (ITPs), check sheets, and welding documents;
  • Select and submit weld procedure specs for client approval;
  • Resolve welding issues during execution;
  • Coordinate non-destructive testing, post-weld heat treatment, and industrial painting;
  • Maintain contract-required quality documentation;
  • Address client welding queries;
  • Train and coach staff on quality control and assurance;
  • Implement and monitor the Ventia Welding Management System;
  • Conduct welder qualification tests;
  • Advise on fabrication methods per client specs and standards;
  • Participate in safety audits and inspections;
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
