We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse -Team Leader to join our team at Elizabeth Gardens Residential Aged Care Facility in Burwood, VIC.

The ideal candidate will have current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), recent experience in caring for high care and dementia residents, and knowledge of wound care, palliative care, behavior management, clinical assessments, and care plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical support and advice to the Residential Aged Care Team
  • Carry out complex clinical assessments and ensure that the clinical care needs of Residents are met
  • Undertake, or supervise others to undertake, clinical care for individual residents as required, including complex wound care, pain management, behavior management, end of-life care, and other clinical procedures as may be necessary
  • Liaise with relevant Residential care staff, medical, allied health, hospital, and other specialist health practitioners to ensure residents receive high-level clinical care

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a salary of $49.18 - $49.95 + Superannuation + Salary packaging options up to $15,990 per annum, Novated leasing, plus an optional Meals and Entertainment card up to $2,650 per annum.
