Lead Clinical Care in Aged Residential Facility

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Elizabeth Gardens Residential Aged Care Facility.

The successful candidate will provide person-centered care to residents, ensuring a safe environment within the facility and applying clinical skills to improve their quality of life through activities.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide clinical support and advice to the residential aged care team as required
  • Carry out complex clinical assessments and ensure that the clinical care needs of residents are met
  • Providing high-quality medical care, including assessing residents' health conditions, monitoring vital signs, and managing medications and treatments
  • Liaise with relevant residential care staff, medical, allied health, hospital, and other specialist health practitioners to ensure residents receive high-level clinical care

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in caring for high-care and dementia residents, knowledge of wound care, palliative care, behavior management, clinical assessments, and care plans.

It is a mandatory requirement to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance to undertake the inherent requirements of this role. All aged care workers must be vaccinated against Covid-19 and are encouraged to receive the Flu-Vaccine.

$49.18-$49.95 per hour + superannuation
