About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team at Elizabeth Gardens Residential Aged Care Facility as a Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide person-centered care to residents, ensuring a safe environment within the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support and advice to the Residential Aged Care Team as required
  • Carry out complex clinical assessments and ensure that the clinical care needs of Residents are met
  • Providing high-quality medical care, including assessing residents' health conditions, monitoring vital signs, and managing medications and treatments
  • Undertake, or supervise others to undertake, clinical care for individual residents as required, including complex wound care, pain management, behavior management, end-of-life care, and other clinical procedures as may be necessary
  • Liaise with relevant Residential care staff, medical, allied health, hospital, and other specialist health practitioners to ensure residents receive high-level clinical care
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience Required
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Recent experience in caring for high-care and dementia residents
  • Knowledge of wound care, palliative care, behavior management, clinical assessments, and care plans
