About the Palliative Care and Oncology Units:
The Central Queensland Hospital provides specialized, compassionate care for patients with serious illnesses. These departments focus on symptom management, emotional and psychological support, and improving quality of life within a multidisciplinary framework.
- Develop personalized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Serve as a vital resource for patients and their families throughout treatment and end-of-life journeys.
The Business Improvement Officer is responsible for monitoring, reviewing and improving the quality of health activity data collected and associated processes within Rockhampton Hospital and peripheral sites.
- Assure quality health information is reported in line with statewide and local Palliative Care and Oncology Key Performance Indicator requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- Experience in Statewide information Management systems.
- Experience with using Power BI.
- Experience in project management.
- Experience in business analytics, information system management and inpatient and/or outpatient business processes.
