About the Role

We're seeking an experienced HSEQ professional to drive our HSEQ culture and performance forward. As a key team member, you'll play a crucial role in shaping a culture where HSEQ comes first.

You'll work closely with our teams across Victoria and Tasmania, providing high-level HSEQ advice and support to manage risk and improve how we work.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist advice and support across the business to deliver improved performance.
  • Influence and lead operational areas to enhance HSEQ culture and behaviours.
  • Deliver ongoing continuous improvement in HSEQ culture and systems, aligning with our business-wide strategies and projects.
  • Support business areas in investigating incidents and provide guidance.
  • Facilitate and lead risk register activities, complete risk assessments as required, and coach stakeholders to actively manage risks.
  • Complete assurance activities, induction, training, and other HSEQ tasks as needed.
  • Support projects related to maintaining ISO45001 and ISO9001 certification.

You'll be based in Clayton, Laverton, or Burnie, with some travel across Victoria and Tasmania.

About You

You're a seasoned safety professional with experience working in a high-risk environment. You'll bring your knowledge of risk management practices, people-focused approach, and effective collaboration skills to provide practical solutions.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HSEQ or a related field.
  • At least three years' experience in a similar industry and risk profile.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering risk-based HSEQ solutions in an operational setting.
  • A collaborative mindset to build support for HSE initiatives and practices.
  • Highly motivated with a strong team focus.
  • Strong investigation and communication skills.
