About the Role

This role involves overseeing the implementation and ongoing operational management of veteran strategic alliances and partnerships. You will be responsible for the general operations and overall performance of our veteran talent partnerships and placements, ensuring this business stream is efficient, profitable, and delivers exceptional candidate care to our veteran talent.

You will:

  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of veteran talent, ensuring ManpowerGroup Defence & Aerospace remains the market leader in partnering with veterans
  • Collaborate with our Defence & Aerospace recruiters and other MPG recruiters to bridge the gap between client needs and veteran placement, identifying suitable job opportunities and organisations for our veterans
  • Develop our market differentiator by building, growing, and maintaining a sizeable veteran talent pool
  • Main responsibilities include strategic planning, financial management, operations management, sales and business development, candidate management, customer satisfaction, and risk management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Several years of experience in a senior recruitment or talent management role
  • A deep understanding of the defence industry
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, innovation, and entrepreneurship when dealing with our strategic alliances
  • A passion for helping veterans and the ability to translate military experience and skills to civilian life is essential
  • You must be an Australian Citizen and already baseline security cleared
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building skills
  • Possess a drive and hunger to succeed, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty
  • You will be flexible and agile, solutions-focused, ambitious, honest, resilient, and a high-energy go-getter
