This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced educator to enhance the capacity of early childhood educators in providing responsive programs that meet the needs of all children.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide consultative support and practical advice to kindergarten teachers throughout the city.
- Develop strategies to encourage participation by children with disabilities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds, and culturally and linguistically diverse families.
- Manage referrals from early childhood services, families, and specialist agencies.
- Strong understanding of evidenced-based practice and child development principles.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and contribute professional expertise and coaching practices.
- Working knowledge of National Education and Care Act and Regulations, Child Safe Legislation, and Early Years Learning Framework.
