This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in building capacity and empowering participants to live more independently.

About the Role

You will conduct specialist assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions aligned with participants' National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) goals. This involves developing tailored intervention plans and detailed reports to support skill development and capacity building.

Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct specialist assessments, such as functional capacity and independent living skills, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement intervention plans that cater to individual needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with participants, families, support coordinators, and allied health professionals to deliver person-centred care.
  • Monitor client progress, maintain accurate documentation, and adjust interventions as needed.
Requirements
  • A qualified and passionate Occupational Therapist with strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
  • Experience working with diverse participants, including those with physical, sensory, or intellectual disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
