Facilities Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to lead our facility services across all Foot Locker stores and Corporate locations in Asia Pacific. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing facilities expense and capital budgets, identifying savings opportunities, and establishing standard procedures for interacting with vendors and landlords.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic direction and planning in Facility Services for all APAC locations, ensuring alignment with global strategic objectives.
- Promote, maintain, and manage ethical relationships with current and new vendors and landlords.
- Develop and manage the function's annual budget and execute it effectively.
- Implement Health and Safety related modifications and requirements at all Foot Locker APAC facilities.
- Drive processes and oversee all R&M and H&S work in progress and at completion to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and local legislation.
- Negotiate with vendors and manage relationships across all locations, evaluating them based on performance, SLA, and expected Customer Service.
- Partner with Sr. Director Global Facilities, Directors Facilities NA and EMEA to ensure consistency and industry-leading practices.
- Manage escalation with landlords and building owners on their responsibility for R&M and damage caused.
- Coordinate all matters relating to implementing standards, streamlining efficiencies, and maintaining a high level of quality control throughout the life cycle of the store and office.
- Protect each asset by determining clear guidelines, standards, and criteria for the Facilities Team to effectively execute against.
- Implement a successful communication process that informs all departments when budget revisions and change directives occur.
- Communicate with cross-functional partners, create and manage project timelines for project initiatives for division/functional deliverables, track, follow up, and drive adherence to milestones to maintain timelines.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience with an international retailer or retail outsourced provider.
- Experience managing large expense budgets.
- Broad leadership skills, including interviewing and selecting candidates for employment in Facility Services, training and motivation, taking disciplinary action where necessary, and completing annual goals and objectives.
- A problem solver who understands problem identification and the problem-solving process.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively present and communicate concepts to cross-functional teams.
- Ability to read Architectural and Engineering drawings.
- Knowledgeable about operation and use of HVAC, electrical, and lighting systems in retail and corporate office environments.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a team.
- Ability to multitask through aggressive schedules in a very fast-paced environment.
