Looking for a challenging opportunity to take on a high-value commercial project in Sydney? Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to oversee the management of a $40M mixed-use development project.

Our client is a reputable construction company with a strong reputation in delivering complex, high-value projects across Australia. They prioritize project success by fostering strong relationships between clients, regulators, consultants, and contractors.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution and administration of all project contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and managing variations and claims. This includes working closely with the project manager and stakeholders to track progress, ensure milestones are met, and manage budgets effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, and manage variations and claims.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with the project manager and stakeholders to track progress and manage budgets.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Financial Management: Monitor the financial performance of the project and ensure costs are controlled.
  • Documentation: Prepare, manage, and update project documentation, including progress reports and contractual records.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the project timeline or budget and work proactively to manage and resolve them.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have experience managing high-value projects (over $30M) with the ability to oversee complex, multi-faceted construction projects. Adaptability is key, as the role requires someone who can transition seamlessly from managing large, long-term projects to smaller, fast-paced assignments.

Salary: The successful candidate will attract a competitive salary package ranging from $160K to $200K.
