Senior Civil Designer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will work on projects delivering solutions in urban, land and subdivision projects within the Gold Coast area.

The role is ideal for a seasoned Civil Designer who has worked on multi-disciplined civil projects for Councils, Local government, Main Roads, or developers. Our approach to community development consulting covers master planned communities, mixed-use developments, parks, recreation facilities, and streetscapes.

This role can be based in either Carrara or Springfield, providing flexibility and autonomy in your work environment.

About the Role:

  • Preparing conceptual and detailed designs using 12D (land subdivisions, road infrastructure, drainage, sewer & water systems as well as associated infrastructure)

  • Interpreting civil design requirements of State Government, Local Government Authorities and private sector clients

  • Interface with associated disciplines such as transport, planning, survey, traffic, electrical and landscaping

  • Interacting with clients regarding project needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate senior civil designer experience in land, urban and subdivisions

  • Relevant qualifications, including a Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent

  • Demonstrated experience ideally using 12D software

  • Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements

  • A commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development

About You:

  • You should have a strong understanding of 12D software

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and project management skills

  • Showcase relevant qualifications, including a Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
