Job Title: Senior Operations Executive

The primary objective of this role is to effectively manage site operations at a Burnie facility. This position is responsible for ensuring that daily production targets are met efficiently and productively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the production schedule to meet efficiency, quality, and productivity objectives.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure maximum production levels are sustained.
  • Oversee maintenance activities and plan preventative maintenance to maintain optimal production levels.
  • Establish and monitor quality checks and audits across the site, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Manage personnel performance and facilitate effective coordination between shifts and other site sections.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills by applying engagement strategies, recognising good performance, and addressing under-performance.
  • Drive a positive safety culture by implementing well-established systems and procedures.
Requirements:
  • A strong background in leadership with experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
  • Trade-related qualifications and mechanical expertise are highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to lead teams successfully.
  • A proven track record of successful planning to meet business objectives and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
