Procurement Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our global sourcing and procurement team. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

This position involves implementing S2P infrastructure solutions within the geography, ensuring compliance with company policies relating to Source to Pay, and working with sourcing and colleagues to ensure complex procurement activities are in place and maintained. The goal is to meet the organisation's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve detailed issues with vendors regarding price, delivery, and terms to maintain relationships.
  • Review Purchasing transactions to recommend incremental sourcing activity / contract compliance / opportunities for pricing improvement.
  • Work with colleagues and suppliers to identify, document, analyse, and resolve any source to pay (S2P) related issues.
  • Increase Spend Under Management – working with Sourcing teams on managing the category strategy, tail spend and compliance using category playbooks and rule engines to push spend through preferred vendors.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting – monitor Procurement performance metrics using Qlik. Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Risk Management - Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, including supplier risks and compliance issues.
  • Ensure that procurement practices adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years' experience in global sourcing, procurement processes and supplier engagement
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Commercial acumen—experience in the financial sector is a plus
  • Experience in data analysis and financial cost model development.
  • Energetic and self-motivated individuals who enjoy working in a team as well as having autonomy to complete their role.
  • Strong customer-focus with proven ability in influencing, communicating and negotiating.
  • Proactive self-starter who is highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results under tight deadlines

About the Role:

This is a developing professional individual contributor role in Procurement Services, working under moderate supervision. The ideal candidate will be able to work across multiple countries and have experience using technology platforms such as Oracle and Qlik Sense.
