Pipe Crew Job Opportunity

The primary function of a Pipe Crew member involves laying sewer, storm water, and water mains. This position requires demonstrated experience in manual handling and repetitive tasks with some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Laying sewer, storm water, and water mains
  • Performing manual handling and repetitive tasks
  • Shooting and reducing levels using Dumpy level
  • Setting-up pipe laser
  • Reading, interpreting, and understanding plans and standards
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a Civil Drainage Foreman (minimum 2 years)
  • Understanding of advanced civil pipe principles with demonstrated experience in residential subdivision works installing deep sewer, storm water, and water
  • Knowledge to deal with all adverse ground conditions
  • Comprehensive understanding of current SEQ standards
  • A strong commitment to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Safe Work Practices
  • Effective communication skills, including verbal and written communication
